The Haskins Society is proud to be co-sponsoring an important set of conferences, which has its next installment in a Symposium at the University of Calabria (Rende-Cosenza), 13-14 October 2025.

This meeting is part of the Pax normanna programme (Pierre Bauduin, Université de Caen-Normandie/CRAHAM, and Annick Peters-Custot, Nantes Université/CRHIA), one of the École française de Rome's structuring research programs for 2022-2026. It therefore follows the program's previous scientific meetings: the Cerisy conference (October 2022) on “Pacification”, the meetings devoted to the “First generations of the conquest” held in Oxford (October 2023) on “Those who leave” and in Ariano Irpino (October 2024) on “To settle.”

The Call for Papers is out, with a thorough preview of the thematic possibilities open for exploration.
